Terms of Service

Effective date: April 28, 2025

1. Acceptance

By installing or using the NoteTab.app Chrome extension (“Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service.

2. License

SharkDog Ltd grants you a non-exclusive, revocable, personal license to use the Service solely for your own note-taking purposes in Google Chrome. All rights not expressly granted remain with SharkDog Ltd.

3. Prohibited Uses

Any unlawful or fraudulent purposeReverse-engineering, decompiling, or copying the extensionRedistribution or resale of the ServiceSpamming or unsolicited bulk messagingInterference with Chrome or other users’ browsers.

4. User Content

You retain all rights to the notes and content you create. SharkDog Ltd has no control over user-generated content and is not responsible for it.

5. Availability & Support

We aim to keep the Service available but make no uptime guarantees. Support is available via: help.sharkdog.co.uk

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is,” with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. SharkDog Ltd does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, SharkDog Ltd’s total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to £50. In no event will SharkDog Ltd be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SharkDog Ltd and its officers harmless from any claim, demand, or damage arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, for any breach of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you in-app or via email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any dispute must be filed in the courts of Scotland.
